A Plan of the Servants’ Wing
This is how I imagine the servants’ wing at Swallowcliffe in 1890. The laundry (and perhaps a dairy) were housed in another building, while the estate yard and rooms for outdoor servants (gardeners, grooms, estate office, etc) were in a separate wing on the other side of the house.
